Blaspherion/The Path Of Fire/Inverted Cross Records/2012 CD Re-Issue Review

Blaspherion  where  a  1  man  band  from  Georgia  that  played  a  very  satanic  and  evil  form  of  black/war metal  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  2006  album  "The  Path  Of  Fire"  which  was  re-released  by  Inverted  Cross  Records  during  the  year  of  2012.

Drums  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  drumming  with  some  brutal  sounding  blast  beats  being used  at  times,  while  the  keyboards  when  they  are  utilized  bring  a  very  dark  and  evil  sound  to  the music,  as  for  the  bass  playing it  has  a  very  dark  tone  with  riffs  that  follow  the  riffing  that  is  coming  out  of  the  guitars.

Rhythm  guitars  range  from  slow,  mid  paced  to  fast  black/war  metal  riffs  that  are  very  raw  and  primitive  sounding  with  some  death  metal  elements  being  utilized  in  the  darker  side  of  the  riffing  and  there  are  no  guitar  solos  or  leads  present  on  this  recording.

Vocals  are  all  high  pitched  black  metal  screams,  while  the  lyrics  cover  satanic,  blasphemous,  misanthropic  and  anti  christian  themes,  as  for  the  production  it  has  a  very  dark,  raw  and  primitive  sound  to  it.

In  my  opinion  Blaspherion  where  a  very  great  sounding  raw  and  primitive  satanic  and  blasphemous  black/war  metal  band  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  this  musical  genre,  you  should  check  out this  album.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "The  Path  Of  Fire"  "The  Truinph  Of  Death"  and  "Mockery  Of  Thy  Lord".  RECOMMENDED  BUY.
